When there were only 10 competitors, we used a scoring system of 10/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1/0. With the field expansion to 12, the scoring system of 10/9/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1/1/0 was used. With the field expansion to 16, we used 10/9/8/7/6/5/4/4/3/3/2/2/1/1/0/0. At 18, we changed to 10/9/8/7/6.5/6/5.5/5/4.5/4/3.5/3/2.5/2/1.5/1/0.5/0. In 2025, at 17, we are using 10/9/8/7/6/5.5/5/4.5/4/3.5/3/2.5/2/1.5/1/0.5/0.
