The Ultimate Challenge

Poison Ball

RULES

  • 3 dodgeballs in the middle of the field. Participants will start equally on each side. When retrieving a ball at the start, you may not throw the ball within the circle. You may take as many steps as necessary to get to the edge of the circle.
  • You may take up to 3 steps if you have the ball
  • If you get hit you are out, if someone catches the ball you throw then you are out, if you catch someone else’s ball then they are out.
  • In order to avoid “Ball Retrieval” being abused, we will be relying on integrity, shame, and hustle from those already out.
    • If you do retrieve a ball, you must be expedient in doing.
    • You must loudly announce “BALL COMING IN” if you are bringing a ball back into play.
  • When you get out you must IMMEDIATELY raise your hands and head over to the score keeper to mark your place. Once the scorekeeper has given you verbal confirmation they have your spot, you are to help retrieve balls.
  • At 8 people left we go to the small circle with 2 balls, one on each side.
  • Targeting is ALLOWED. Outright collusion or boosting will be SEVERELY frowned upon.
  • 5 games will be played, similar to knockout, and the highest score (based on place) will win

PAST CHAMPIONS
